Welcome to DR. OKAMOTO’S ROOM!

Shosuke Okamoto (1907-2004) and his wife Utako (1918-2017) were Japanese scientists, unique and extraordinary. They invented three new drugs (Epsiron aminocaproic acid, Tranexamic acid and Argatroban), which have saved and are now saving lives all over the world.
 
Shosuke and Utako were not only lucky researchers; they worked hard and took smart ways to overcome the difficulties. We believe that to know what they did and said can give any people valuable hints of life.
